Carswell Motorsports is pleased to announce that Ryan

Blaney, the 2011 PASS South Champion, will be driving

the #98 Super Late Models for 2012. The team has put

together a tentative schedule of 13 races that will be

heavy in PASS South competition plus several trips to

Gresham Motorsports Park and Five Flags Speedway for

their SLM shows. These races will work around and be in

addition to Blaney's previously announced slate of K&N

and Nationwide races.

Team owner Jake Carswell is excited bout the possibilities.

"We are so excited to have a driver as talented as Ryan

drive our cars," said Carswell.  "We know he is headed to

the highest levels of racing and we are glad it worked out

for us to be a part of his plans for 2012. We are planning

on coming out of the gates strong and contending for wins

on a regular basis."

The new pairing will make their first outing at Hickory

Motor Speedway for the PASS South Easter Bunny 150,

a track where both Blaney and the 98 team have had success.

"I'm pumped about being able to drive a Super Late Model this year on a regular basis," said Blaney.  "I want to thank Jake and Deanna Carswell for giving me this opportunity and plan on doing everything I can to put the 98 in victory lane."
