Ryan Blaney has secured national, regional and local sponsors, and an experienced crew chief as he kicks off an eclectic 2011 racing schedule designed to help him continue his rise toward the upper echelons of NASCAR.

Seal Wrap, a supplier of automotive repair tape headquartered in Indianapolis and available in Wal-Mart and auto parts stores nationwide, and Heavy Duty Industrial Services of McDonald, Ohio will adorn Blaney’s racecar as primary sponsors. Additionally, NOS Energy Drink, Welch & Wilson, Valvoline, and Hank Thomas Performance join Blaney and DB Racing as associate sponsors.

Blaney, who turned 17 in December, will run a schedule that includes the Pro All-Stars Series (PASS) and CRA Super Late Models. He will also make his first foray into the NASCAR K&N Pro Series, racing at Richmond, Va. on April 28 and Newton, Iowa on May 21.

Joining Blaney for the 2011 racing season is veteran crew chief Shane Tesch, who brings years of NASCAR experience from teams such as Roush Fenway Racing and ThorSport Racing.
Blaney is optimistic about the changes and looking forward to the season ahead.

“We have a fun and challenging schedule in place; now it’s time to go grab some wins”, commented Blaney. “Shane [Tesch] coming on board is huge for us on the performance side and having the support from Seal Wrap, Heavy Duty, and our associates is an honor for our whole team. I am looking forward to learning a lot from Shane and the events we will run this season.”

On the Super Late Model side, Blaney is used to acquiring wins. He was crowned the CRA Southern Six-Pack champion in 2010 and was the runner-up in the PASS South Series standings. He earned four victories across both series.

DB Racing, owned by Blaney’s father, NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Dave Blaney, will field all of his entries for the 2011 season. The team’s shop is based in Salisbury, N.C.
